Projects
7.O Projects Solutions is currently undertaking its first projects in Central African Republic (C.A.R.) namely
“CONNECTING THE DOTS.”
Although C.A.R.as a country is currently making the headline of the newspapers throughout the world for a bad reason as it is accustomed in Africa or any Third World Country, it is important to note that C.A.R. is one of the wealthiest countries in the world in term of natural resources.
Leaning on C.A.R. geographical location at the HEART of the African Continent and for that matter the Center of the Five World Continents and most importantly C.A.R. geostrategic position in the Great Lake Regions in Africa and the non-negligible positive impact of its economic development on the neighboring countries, 7.O Projects Solutions has designed a creative set of Projects that has the potential to not only transform C.A.R. but the region and the continent in its entirety.
What we call the “C.A.R. CONNECTING THE DOTS Projects” are designed to lay down in specific term concrete actions from beginning, intermediary and advanced projects aimed at tackling the root causes of the current crisis and most importantly at transforming it into a real land of opportunity in the heart of Africa.
To attain that goal 7.O Projects Solutions came up with detail set of Projects that mingles Western economic needs and C.A.R. social, cultural and economic potentials that could trigger the type of changes never experienced before in Africa that may well serve as a spark of AFRICA RISING.
The challenge in most of the developing countries remains mainly good governance, political performance (legitimacy of the political framework), the corruption, tax evasion and respect of human rights.
President Obama and President Biden Administration’s Special Economic Initiatives for Africa.
YALI (Young African Leaders Initiative )
-
“The Obama Administration’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) is a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. Nearly one in three Africans are between the ages of 10 and 24, and approximately 60 percent of Africa’s total population is below the age of 35. President Obama launched YALI in 2010 to support young African leaders as they spur growth and prosperity, strengthen democratic governance, and enhance peace and security across Africa.” (source: http://youngafricanleaders.state.gov/yali/)

United States African Development Foundation (USADF) is contributing to the White House’s “Young African Leaders Initiative” (YALI) by establishing the USADF-YALI Entrepreneurship Grants Program.
Power Africa (Energy)
-
“Today the President announced Power Africa, a new initiative to double access to power in sub-Saharan Africa. More than two-thirds of the population of sub-Saharan Africa is without electricity, and more than 85 percent of those living in rural areas lack access. Power Africa will build on Africa’s enormous power potential, including new discoveries of vast reserves of oil and gas, and the potential to develop clean geothermal, hydro, wind and solar energy. It will help countries develop newly-discovered resources responsibly, build out power generation and transmission, and expand the reach of mini-grid and off-grid solutions.” (Source: http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2013/06/30/fact-sheet-power-africa)
Feed The Future
-
“During the 2009 G-8 Summit in Italy, President Obama called on global leaders to reverse the decades-long decline in investment in agriculture and strengthen global efforts to reduce poverty, hunger and under nutrition”.
-
“To lead the way, the United States pledged $3.5 billion to this effort over three years, which helped leverage an additional $18.5 billion in support from G-8 members and other donors. The U.S. contribution to this global commitment came to be called “Feed the Future.”
-
“Feed the Future is the U.S. Government’s global hunger and food security initiative, which establishes a foundation for lasting progress against global hunger. With a focus on smallholder farmers, particularly women, Feed the Future supports partner countries in developing their agriculture sectors to spur economic growth that increases incomes and reduces hunger, poverty and under nutrition. Feed the Future efforts are driven by country-led priorities and rooted in partnership with governments, donor organizations, the private sector and civil society to enable long-term success”.
-
“Led by USAID, Feed the Future draws on the strengths of agencies across the U.S. Government and leverages resources and efforts with multilateral organizations, NGOs, the private sector, research institutions and other stakeholders to accelerate inclusive agricultural growth”.
